Linda Leiss Landry
I was raised a North Dakota farm girl, but after helping a friend move here in the mid 80s, I decided Colorado Springs is where I wanted to live. In the ensuing years, many of my family members followed me and love it here as much as I do. I am currently in real estate with my husband, Bob, and we run a very successful team with Synergy Realty Group. Prior to real estate, I had a career that I did very well at and loved a hair stylist and salon owner for over 34 years. As one might imagine, standing over heads for that long takes it toll on a body, thus the career transition. I have been very engaged and active in the Colorado Springs business community during the 30 years I’ve lived here. Having such a large business network has serviced me very well in my current vocation, and I am certain it would as a board member with Discovery as well. I am an active member with the Home Builders Association (membership committee), and the Better Business Bureau as well. I am passionate about my community; I always stay connected with my neighbors and involved, wherever I have lived. In my last neighborhood, I organized an annual block party each year (Near UCCS). We typically ended up having over 100 people in attendance and it service to unite and bond neighbors in a very special way. Life is so much richer when shared with family and friends; it is so special when your neighbors fall into those categories.
